Creative Problem Solving

Every so often a business will catch my eye for overcoming a problem with a very creative solution. Usually this is through some clever marketing on social media, but recently I stumbled across this great example in London. Duck World (yes, it’s a real place!) on Charing Cross Rd have adorned their building’s scaffolding with this cheeky pun of a sign, not only ensuring that the shop remains visible, but arguably giving them more of a presence in the street than usual.

This style of approach to solving the problem not only tells passers by ‘we are still open for business’, but reveals so much about the essence of the brand. I can’t help but feel that more companies, and perhaps individuals, should take this approach to dealing with unfortunate circumstances.
